The Surgery Partners acquisition of Symbion has closed, but as required by the Federal Trade Commission, Surgery Partners will divest Blue Springs Surgery Center in Orange City, Fla., according to a Post Business report.
The Surgery Partners-Symbion deal would have consolidated ownership of the only two multispecialty ASCs in Orange City, the root of the FTC complaint.
