Lafayette General Health opens ASC

Lafayette General Health has opened a new ambulatory surgery center within its Lafayette (La.) General Surgical Hospital, according to a report by theadvertiser.

The center’s first surgery was performed on Nov. 11, coinciding with the celebration of the hospital’s 10th anniversary.

The Oil Center Surgical Plaza is a 12,656-square-foot facility with four operating rooms. The center hosts ophthalmology, ENT, plastic surgery and pain management procedures.
