Oath Surgical raised $24 million in Series A funding to expand its network of surgeon-owned, AI-powered ASCs.
The round was led by FPV Ventures with participation from McKesson Ventures and brings Oath’s total funding to $35 million. The company plans to expand into new specialties, including oncology, and grow its OathOS platform, which replaces traditional scheduling and billing systems with AI automation, according to an Oct. 6 news release.
Oath Surgical reported up to 80% cost savings, a complication rate under 0.25% and 98.5% patient satisfaction across complex outpatient procedures. Its network includes more than 150 surgeon partners, the release said.
The expansion comes as Medicare prepares to shift more procedures to outpatient settings by 2026.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
