St. Mary Mercy opens $6.9M surgery center

St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Mich., reached capacity in its main operating room and decided to open a new surgery center, according to a hometownlife report.

The $6.9 million surgery center has started hosting procedures. The center has two procedure rooms and 10 recovery rooms, according to the report.

The surgery center is located in the Mendelson Professional Building in Livonia. The building also houses the Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedic and Spine Specialists practice and a number of other healthcare services.
