MetroHealth has its own surgery center, West 150th Surgery Center in Cleveland, but the health system will use Big Creek Surgery Center to better serve patients in Cuyahoga County.

The physicians that own Big Creek Surgery Center will remain independent and still manage the center, according to the report. But, the surgery center’s staff will become MetroHealth employees beginning in February 2016.
