Department of Health and Environment Control suspended the CON program last year due to lack of funding. Governor Nikki Haley vetoed the $1.7 million required to keep the program active.
The Supreme Court will decide whether or not the state’s health agency can end the CON program.
The South Carolina Hospital Association, amongst several other groups, argue against the program’s suspension.
