Here’s what you should know:
1. The freestanding ASC should begin accepting patients by the end of the month.
2. Joe Ollayos will serve as the center’s administrator.
3. The center’s physicians specialize in ENT, head and neck surgery, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, podiatry and urology.
4. The 14,000-square-foot center has three operating rooms, 12 preoperative and postoperative beds and a family waiting area.
5. The center expects to see 2,100 patients during its first year.
6. The hospital built the center to ease demand on hospital surgical suites.
