Kimberly Ferguison, MD; Shannon Gardiner, PA-C; Jake Majors, MD; and Rick Roberts, MD, were brought on from Saltzer Health, according to an April 15 news release from Primary Health. Dr. Majors and Ms. Gardiner will continue to see patients at the ENT practice.

The 10-location Saltzer Health, which was acquired by Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health in October 2020, shuttered earlier this month.

Boise, Idaho-based Saint Alphonsus Health System also recently announced plans to buy three facilities from Saltzer, including two urgent care centers in South Nampa and Meridian, Idaho, and an ASC in Meridian.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
