Sentara BelleHarbour breaks ground on $35M building housing ASC: 4 things to know

Suffolk, Va.-based Sentara BelleHarbour, an outpatient medical center, is building a new medical building which will house an ASC in Suffolk, according to Wavy.

Here are four things to know:

1. The $35 million building will also include two operating rooms, an expanded emergency department, medical office space, 14 observation beds and a helipad.

2. The facility is 85,000 square feet.

3. Sentara expects construction to end late next year.

4. The outpatient center has plans to build four new medical office buildings, an urgent care center and a parking deck in the future depending on resident demand.
