Here are four things to know:
1. The partnership expands SCA’s presence in the state to six locations and 24 additional physicians.
2. Surgery Center of Chevy Chase provides services including orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management, plastics, podiatry, spine and urology.
3. Through the partnership, the surgery center is a joint venture between SCA and physician investors.
4. SCA operated 201 surgical facilities as of June 30, 2016.
