Private equity-backed ophthalmology platform partners with New York practice

SightMD, a multispecialty ophthalmology platform backed by private equity firm Sight Growth Partners, has partnered with the New York City-based practice of Spencer E. Sherman, MD, marking the company’s third acquisition in the city.

Dr. Sherman will keep his same schedule through the partnership, which now includes over 80 providers in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

“Sight Growth Partners continues to be committed to its mission of easing the administrative burden of physicians so they can focus on the patients. We look forward to partnering with and empowering additional blue-chip providers like Dr. Sherman,” said Jonathan Lujan, CEO of Sight Growth Partners.
