Here is how four major, publicly traded ASC chains fared in the stock market for the week of Nov. 27 to Dec. 1, 2017.

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based CHI Memorial Hospital will acquire Ringgold, Ga.-based Hutcheson on the Parkway as well as Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.-based Cornerstone Medical Center.

Shenandoah, Iowa.-based Shenandoah Medical Center opened its new surgery center Nov. 29, KMALand reports.

Houston-based Nobilis Health opened a new ASC in El Paso, Texas.

Sioux Falls (S.D.) Urgent Care Specialty Hospital, a physician-owned facility, is expected to open its doors next week, according to KSFY.

Pocatello (Idaho) Women's Health Clinic affiliated with Blackfoot, Idaho-based Bingham Memorial Hospital, and the affiliation will include Pocatello-based Skyline Surgery Center, according to KPVI.

There were 12 new ASCs and outpatient surgery centers opened last month.

The New Jersey Health Planning Board unanimously agreed to sell Secaucus, N.J.-based Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center to surgery center developer Yan Moshe, The Jersey Journal reports.
