Norfolk, Neb.-based Fountain Point Medical Community will relocate its surgery center to the south side of its main campus, the Norfolk Daily News reports.

Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health purchased a 1.3-acre commercial lot adjacent to its orthopedic surgery center in Dayton, the Dayton Business Journal reports.

A medical office building complex with an ASC in Newington, Conn., was acquired by a national healthcare real estate investor for over $8 million, according to Connect Boston, a local commercial real estate news source. The seller was Jacobsen Properties.

McLaren Greater Lansing, a subsidiary of Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care, has purchased a majority stake in two surgery centers, according to local news station Fox47.

This past year was big for the ASC industry, with many large companies growing and striking key partnerships that set the stage for 2020.

Washington Regional Medical System acquired Fayetteville Surgical Associates, renaming the practice Washington Regional General Surgery Clinic, according to talkbusiness, an online publication covering business news in Arkansas. Both healthcare entities are based in Fayetteville, Ark.

Work on Quincy (Ill.) Medical Group's surgery center in Quincy Mall is progressing, with the surgery center slated for a fall opening, local ABC and CBS provider KHQA reports.

Easton-based University of Maryland Shore Regional Health secured 9.23 acres of land in Cambridge, Md., for a healthcare campus with an outpatient surgery center, the Dorchester Star reports.
