ASC Transactions & Valuation Issues

While ASC giants United Surgical Partners International and SCA Health are seeing huge growth in the last decade, they are not the only companies to keep an eye on. 

Nashville, Tenn.-based Capitol Pain Institute is entering the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn., metropolitan market through the acquisition of Edina, Minn.-based Nura Pain Clinics. 

Healthcare services company Surgery Partners spent just under $250 million on ASC acquisitions in 2022, and the company has no plans on slowing its growth in 2023.

Nashville, Tenn. -based Surgery Partners has acquired Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital in Wichita, Kan.

CVS Health completed its acquisition of primary care organization Oak Street Health in an all-cash, $10.6 billion deal. 

Healthcare strategy and advisory firm VMG Health has acquired healthcare consulting firm BSM Consulting.
