Optim Orthopedics opens musculoskeletal-focused ASC — 4 highlights

Optim Orthopedics celebrated the grand opening of its new ASC in Savannah, Ga., according to Business in Savannah.

Here are four highlights:

1. The surgery center’s providers will treat musculoskeletal conditions and will offer specialty care for sports medicine, total joint replacement, interventional pain management, spine, foot and ankle, hand, wrist and elbow as well as pediatric orthopedics.

2. The ASC features four operating suites, three procedure rooms and five extended-stay private recovery rooms.

3. Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care-accredited Optim Surgery Center is nearly 20,000 square feet.

4. Nearly 56 full- and part-time nurses will staff the center, alongside two anesthesiologists and Optim Orthopedics’ more than 30 orthopedic surgeons.
