Ohio Hospital Moves Ahead With Plans to Build Surgery Center in Avon

Mercy Regional Medical Center, based in Lorain, Ohio, is moving ahead with plans to build a new medical center in Avon, Ohio, that will include an ambulatory surgery center, according to a Sun Sentinel report.

Mercy, a member of Catholic Health Partners, has contracted with Frauenshuh HealthCare Real Estate Solutions to plan and develop the proposed facility that would include primary care doctors and an imaging center in addition to the ASC.

 

Frauenshuh is the second developer for the project, according to a Chronicle-Telegram report. Construction has not yet begun on the facility.
