Construction began last fall on the project, which is estimated to cost $11.6 million and will include four surgical suites and two endoscopy/procedure rooms. Services at the center will include orthopedics, gastroenterology, hand surgery and plastic surgery, podiatry, ENT and urology, among others.
According to a Franciscan St. Anthony spokesperson, the new center will help redistribute current and future demand for outpatient surgery from the new hospital campus.
