WFU Baptist Medical Center is building a $100 million campus in two phases. The first is a three-story, approximately 90,000-square-foot outpatient center which includes the surgery center, along with a endoscopy services, diagnostic imaging and emergency services. Construction on this phase is scheduled to begin within a year and finish late 2013, with an estimated cost of $60 million.
The second phase includes a 25-bed hospital estimated to cost approximately $25 million and scheduled for completion in 2017.
