New Maryland Surgery Center Set to Open in Elkton

A new medical center under development in Elkton, Md., that will include a same-day surgical center is nearing completion, according to a Cecil Whig report.

Drs. Zahid Aslam, Samir Khanjar and Michael Knapp purchased a former Wal-Mart in 2009 to convert it to the medical center, which will include infusion therapy, cardiology, dentistry and pain management in addition to the outpatient surgery center.
