Montecito Medical acquires 2 Wisconsin buildings housing ASCs — 6 insights

Here’s what you should know:

1. The buildings are both leased to Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care. They total 129,629 square feet.

2. The buildings house the Aurora East Mequon (Wis.) Surgery Center and the Franklin (Wis.) Surgery Center.

3. The Mequon center includes five operating suites, an imaging room and two X-ray rooms.

4. The Franklin center has four operating suites and two imaging rooms.

5. Physicians at both centers specialize in general surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, ENT, urology and podiatry, among others.

6. Since its inception, Montecito acquired 104 buildings valued at $1.7 billion-plus.
