Medical office property with surgery center sells for $2.8M — 4 details

The Grand Rapids, Mich., building housing East Paris Surgical Center was purchased for $2.8 million, according to Ashish Vakhariya of Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate brokerage firm.

Four details:

1. The property’s unnamed buyer was sourced within 10 days of initial marketing.

2. The building sold is one of eight in the East Paris Plaza Office Park.

3. It is fully occupied with multiple tenants, including the 11-surgeon East Paris Surgical Center. The property’s surgical tenant has invested over $1 million into its suite, according to Marcus & Millichap.

4. The 28,540-square-foot property came with a certificate of need.
