Baton Rouge, La.-based Woman's Hospital plans to open the Breast and GYN Cancer Pavilion in spring 2018, according to WAFB.
Here are four things to know:
1. The facility will house an ASC in addition to cancer services.
2. The Breast and GYN Cancer Pavilion's cancer services will include clinical trials, diagnostics, radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
3. The pavilion is part of a growing partnership between Woman's Hospital and Mary Bird Perkins Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center in Baton Rouge.
4. The partnership aims to combine Woman Hospital's diagnostic and surgical services with the Cancer Center's advanced treatment options.
