Envision Healthcare announced its $250 million stock repurchase program Sept. 18. Envision can halt its stock repurchase program at any time.

Tenet Healthcare shares fell 2.4 percent during the week of Sept. 18 to Sept. 22, trading at $16.33 per share.

Medical Facilities Corp. named Reza Shahim, MD, to its board of directors. Dr. Shahim is a neurosurgeon who specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery.

During the week of Sept. 18 to Sept. 22, Hospital Corporation of America shares traded at $78.22 per share, a 1.3 percent decrease.
