Long-time Pennsylvania physician practice acquired

Dermatology Partners has acquired the practice of Elizabeth Spiers, MD, in Doylestown, Pa., establishing a second location in the county, according to a July 30 news release shared with Becker’s.

The acquired practice will operate as Dermatology Partners Doylestown–Ferry Road, while the group’s existing Doylestown location has been renamed Dermatology Partners Doylestown–Hyde Park, continuing under the leadership of Aziz Khan, MD.

Dr. Spiers, a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist, opened her Doylestown practice in 2002 and holds a faculty position at the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Dermatology. Financial terms were not disclosed.
