5 new ASC acquisitions

The following ambulatory surgery center acquisitions have been announced or transacted this past month.

CNL Healthcare Properties acquired the Lee Hughes Medical Building in Glendale, Calif., which houses the Adventist Health ambulatory surgery center.

Great Bend, Kan.-based Centura Health and Hays Medical Center (HaysMed) signed a letter of intent to co-own St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center.

Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian invested in Newport Bay Surgery Center, an ophthalmology center.

Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center formed a strategic alliance with Surgical Care Affiliates to manage several of its surgery centers.

NVISION Laser Eye Centers acquired Teplick Custom Vision in Portland, Ore., the company’s first acquisition in the state.
