Kaiser Permanente Opens Surgery Center in Largo

This week, Kaiser Permanente opened a multispecialty clinic in Largo, Md., which includes several services including an ambulatory surgery center, according to a WTOP report.

The entire facility is 233,000 square feet, but Kaiser Permanente only opened about half of the location this week. The entire facility is expected to be open in 2014.

In addition to the surgery center, the clinic offers 24-hour urgent care, an observation unit, a pharmacy, radiology and lab services.

The Largo clinic is the fifth multispecialty location of its kind that Kaiser Permanente has opened since 2011.
