1. Joint Implant Surgeons opened its new surgery center, Southeast Ohio Surgical Suites, in Athens on Nov. 5, according to the report.
2. The surgery center is a 13,000-square-foot facility.
3. Jason Reed, DO, of Joint Implants Surgeons, performed the first complete, outpatient knee surgery at the center the same day it opened.
4. Joint Implant Surgeons also operates White Fence Surgical Suites, its Columbus, Ohio-based surgery center.
