Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, also in New York, is opening the 16-story building as an alternate surgery location for its patients. Mastectomies, amongst other procedures, will be performed at the facility. The surgery center will have 12 operating rooms and accommodate approximately 60 surgeries a day, according to the report.
Memorial Sloan Kettering first received the green light for the project in 2013.
