Indiana ASC Physician-Owners in Talks to Sell Surgery Center to Hospital

Physician-owners of Columbus (Ind.) Surgery Center are in discussions to sell the ASC to Columbus Regional Hospital, which co-owns the ASC, according to a report by The Republic.

Columbus Surgery Center is a AAAHC-accredited facility with three ORs established in 1991. Services include ENT, endoscopy, orthopedics, pain management and urology, according to the ASC’s website.

 

Columbus Surgery Center is a joint venture between Columbus Regional Hospital and Genesis Physician Group; members of the Genesis Physician Group consist of Southern Indiana Orthopedics, Southern Indiana Surgery, Southern Indiana ENT and Southern Indiana Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery and Southeastern Indiana Gastroenterology.
