Arco, Idaho-based Lost Rivers Medical Center will cut the ribbon on its $3.7 million surgery center Oct. 28, the Post Register reports.
What you should know:
1. The surgery center will provide gastroenterology, orthopedic and podiatry services.
2. The center will see a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases.
3. Surgeons from Blackfoot, Idaho-based Bingham Memorial Hospital will staff the surgery center.
4. The Lost Rivers Medical Center Foundation has been attempting to build a surgery center on campus since 2004.
