Idaho hospital building surgery center — 3 insights

Blackfoot, Idaho-based Bingham Memorial Hospital, along with the hospital’s affiliate Cardio Renal Center of America, is building a new surgery center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the Idaho State Journal reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. Hospital administrators expect the center to be approximately 25,000 square feet.

2. The center will include physician offices, allowing for outpatient cardiology, nephrology, interventional radiology and interventional pain management services.

3. The center will also feature a catheterization laboratory.
