The Los Angeles-based Hernia Center of Southern California’s Pasadena, Calif.-based location is moving to a freestanding surgery center also in Pasadena, Pasadena Now report.

1. The center is relocating to a larger space in Pasadena to accommodate surgical cases.

2. David Albin, MD, and his son Michael Albin, MD, will staff the Pasadena location.

3. The Hernia Center of Southern California features seven other locations throughout Los Angeles.

4. The physicians said to Pasadena Now, “The Hernia Center of Southern California has built the only free-standing Hernia Surgery Center in California and [it] is one of only a few in the country.”
