Hendrick Health System, Brownwood break ground on $5.2 million ASC: 4 key points

Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health System and the city of Brownwood broke ground on the $5.2 million Hendrick Surgery Center in Brownwood, according to KTXS.

Here are four key points:

1. The center is a joint venture between Hendrick Health System and the city of Brownwood, which expect the center to open in March 2017.

2.  Hendrick Surgery Center will offer pain management and plastic surgery services.

3. Equipped with three operating rooms, the surgery center will also house 13 recovery rooms.

4. Mayor Stephen Haynes and Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ray Tipton attended the groundbreaking festivities.
