Georgia’s Eye Center South Merges With Wall Eye Care

Two eye surgery centers in Albany, Ga., have merged and added four new physicians to the team, according to a My Southwest GA report.

Wall Eye Care recently merged with Eye Center South, according to the report. The Palmyra Road location, now known as Eye Center South, Albany, will feature the usual patient care as well as surgical eye care services.

The new location will offer glaucoma subspecialty care and cataract surgery, according to Kirk Sterridge, MD, one of Eye Center South’s new physicians. The surgery center will also perform surgery for retinal and diabetic eye diseases, cataract removal and lens implantation.
