Eye Health America acquires 6th eye practice, ASC in South Carolina: 4 notes

Eye Health America acquired Carolinas Center for Sight, based in Florence, S.C.

Four things to know:

1. Carolinas Center for Sight is an ophthalmology practice serving residents from North and South Carolina. The group has provided services for more than 30 years.

2. The practice includes a main campus in Florence as well as four satellite offices and the Florence Surgery and Laser Center, located adjacent to the main campus. The ASC’s services include bladeless femto laser cataract surgery and multifocal/astigmatism premium lens implants.

3. The Carolinas Center for Sight acquisition is the second for Eye Health America this year, and its sixth strategic partnership in South Carolina. Recently, the center integrated several member practices in upstate South Carolina under the Clemson Eye name.

4. LLR Partners established Eye Health America last year to partner with eye practices and ASCs, providing capital, business expertise and administrative services.
