EmergeOrtho wins NC CON fight for ASC OR against Novant Health: 4 things to know

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services awarded North Carolina-based EmergeOrtho approval for a new ASC operating room in Leland, N.C., according to Star News Online.

Here are four things to know:

1. EmergeOrtho received approval to build an ASC with one operating room.

2. The practice was vying against North Carolina-based Novant Health for the space.

3. In its proposal, EmergeOrtho sought to build a $4.2 million ASC with one operating room and two procedure rooms.

4. The practice aims to complete the center by January 2019.
