CRH Medical acquires 55% of a Florida GI anesthesia practice — 4 key notes

CRH Medical Corp. acquired 55 percent of a gastroenterology anesthesia practice in West Florida.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The West Florida practice is the primary anesthesia provider for an ASC in West Florida.

2. This marks CRH’s fourth acquisition in Florida.

3. The West Florida practice has a total revenue of $3 million. The ASC was structured as a joint venture and CRH will retain its 55 percent ownership through the restructuring.

4. CRH CEO Edward Wright said in a release, “We are very excited to continue to grow our presence in Florida. I believe this will be the first of a series of transactions that we announce as we increase the pace of our acquisitions for the remainder of 2017.”
