Connecticut Orthopedic Specialists completes merger

Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists and The Orthopaedic Group have finished a merger that brings eight orthopedists and four offices into COS, according to a report from the Providence Journal.

This is the third merger for COS in 2014, according to the report.

“We timed this merger to optimize the benefits for our patients,” said Alan M. Reznik, MD, founder of TOG, in the report. “Together, we are able to increase the care options and convenience as well as implement new services, technology and locations.”
