Colorado’s Vail Valley Medical Center Breaks Ground on New Surgery Center in Edwards

Vail Valley Medical Center, based in Vail, Col., has broken ground on a new ambulatory surgery center in Edwards, Colo., according to a report from the Vail Daily.

The new ASC, plans for which were announced in June 2010, will feature four operating rooms.

 

Only two of the ORs will be operational when the surgery center is completed next spring, according to the report.

 

Previous reports had Vail Valley Medical Center expecting the new ASC to cost $9-$12 million.
