Cleveland Clinic Children’s opening $28M outpatient center— 5 insights

Cleveland Clinic Children’s will open a $28 million freestanding outpatient center Sept. 24, The Plain Dealer reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The center is 120,000 square feet.

2. Cleveland Clinic Children’s will perform most of its outpatient treatments out of the center.

3. Hospital administration will hold a ribbon cutting for the center Sept.14.

4. Center physicians will offer pediatric allergy, behavioral health, cancer, cardiology, dermatology, diabetes, ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, genetics, physical rehabilitation, plastic surgery and urology services.

5. The outpatient center features a cafe, lactation rooms, laboratories, a retail pharmacy, a sensory sensitivity room and an interactive motion wall.
