Christ Hospital Health Network still awaiting CON approval for $24M ASC — 5 things to know

Cincinnati-based The Christ Hospital Health Network is awaiting certificate-of-need approval from state legislators to build its ASC in Fort Mitchell, Ky., according to Cincinatt!.com.

Here are five things to know:

1. The proposed ASC costs $24 million.

2. Christ Hospital underwent initial hearings for its CON in August 2016.

3. Following those hearings, another four days of hearings will commence on Jan. 3, 2016.

4. Christ Hospital expects to receive a decision nearly a month following the January 2016 hearings.

5. The facility will be between 100,000 square feet and 150,000 square feet.
