Here are six key notes:
1. The new center replaces the Comprehensive Pain and Spine Center at the hospital.
2. Costs of renovations were about $400,000.
3. David Rubins, MD, and Mark Watson, MD, have relocated from their former locations to the new center.
4. Hospital officials aim to completely move their programs for joint health, spine and sports medicine to the new center by the end of summer.
5. Bristol Hospital will add an anesthesiologist and a sports medicine expert later this year.
6. The new center will take more of a “team-based approach,” Catherine Annulli, director of operations and quality of Bristol Hospital and its Multi-Specialty Group, told The Bristol Press.
