Here’s what you should know:
1. Through the deal, the ASC is now the Baptist Health Surgery Center.
2. Baptist Health formed an alliance with AmSurg to acquire the center.
3. This is Baptist Health’s second outpatient surgery center in Palm Beach County.
4. The Baptist Health Surgery Center is 11,000 square feet. The center’s physicians specialize in gastroenterology, orthopedics, foot and ankle surgery, ophthalmology, general surgery and plastic surgery.
Baptist Outpatient Services CEO Patricia Rosello said in a release, “We are pleased to have partnered with a first-class surgery center. The acquisition of South Palm Ambulatory Surgery Center furthers Baptist Health’s commitment to bring diverse and convenient outpatient services to Palm Beach County.”
