Thirteen area surgeons are partners in the facility, which provides procedures in gastroenterology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain, podiatry and urology.

“We are excited to work with the Morehead City physicians, expand upon their past successes, and grow the center to exceed the expectations of both patients and physicians,” said Tyler Merrill, ASCOA vice president of acquisitions and development, according to a news release. “We will be recruiting additional surgeons in order to better serve the community, as well as streamlining processes to enhance the experience at the center.
