AmSurg continues to diversify with radiology services acquisition

Sheridan, now the physician services division of AmSurg, has acquired the radiology services business Radisphere, according to a Nashville Business Journal report.

Radisphere, which has offices in Ohio and Connecticut, is a group of more than 100 radiologists.

AmSurg continues to demonstrate commitment to diversifying its business. The radiology group acquisition closely follows AmSurg’s acquisition and integration of Sheridan.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
