Amazon posts $2.7B loss: What ASCs need to know 

Amazon reported its first unprofitable report in nine years with a loss of $2.7 billion for 2022.

Here are three things ASCs need to know:

  1. Amazon closed out its second-slowest year of growth in its 25 years as a public company.
  2. Net sales increased by 9 percent to $149.2 billion in the fourth quarter. A year ago, that number was $137.4 billion
  3. Amazon said it expects revenue in the first quarter will be $121 billion to $126 billion.
