Allegany Associates building $1M ophthalmology ASC — 3 insights

Allegany Associates, the owners of Johnson City, N.Y.-based Southern Tier Surgery Center filed plans with the New York Department of Health to build an ASC in Olean, N.Y., Buffalo Business First reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The proposed surgery center will have two operating rooms.

2. The site is close to Allegany Eye Associates in Olean. AEA has additional locations in Wellsville, N.Y. and Hornell, N.Y.

3. The New York Public Health and Health Planning Council will review the full proposal.
