Alabama ASC files for $135k form D equity financing: 4 key notes

Here are five things to know:

1. The surgery center filed a form D for around $135,658 equity financing and has been able to sell $45,219, around 33 percent of the financing offer.

2. The form was filed Dec. 13 for an unspecified reason and remained open at the time of this report.

3. Birmingham Outpatient Surgery Center is currently doing business as Outpatient CareCenter and surgeons perform around 13,000 procedures at the facility annually.

4. The ASC provides general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology and pain management in addition to other specialties.
