8 hospitals, health systems opening or planning ASCs — August 2016

Here are eight hospitals and health systems that have announced plans for ambulatory surgery centers.

Affiliated Community Medical Centers and Rice Memorial Hospital, both in Willmar, Minn., are building a new ambulatory surgery center.

Lincoln, Neb.-based Bryan Health broke ground on a new $25 million ambulatory surgery center and physician office building.

Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin Health Network plan to open the outpatient Lake Country Surgery Center.

Maplewood, Minn.-based HealthEast broke ground on a new facility, which features a surgery center.

Cleveland-based MetroHealth plans to open its new Brecksville (Ohio) Health & Surgery Center. The ASC component of the center is set to open in early 2017.

Coordinated Health broke ground on a new $15 million ambulatory surgery center and medical campus in Hazleton, Pa.
