Here are seven ASC acquisitions and partnerships announced in April 2019:

During the first quarter, Nashville, Tenn.-based Tenet Healthcare's ASC business, Addison, Texas-based United Surgical Partners International, sold two facilities and merged two locations into one.

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Health plans to acquire Sterling Surgical Center in Orchard Park, N.Y.

EyeSouth Partners became affiliated with two organizations: Cumberland Eye Care and Plateau ASC in Crossville, Tenn., and Cookeville (Tenn.) Eye Specialists and Perimeter ASC.

Augusta, Ga.-based University Hospital plans to sell its stake in an Evans, Ga.-based ASC to Augusta University Medical Center.

Eye Health America acquired Florence, S.C.-based Carolinas Center for Sight.

Omni Ophthalmic Management Consultants acquired Ludwick Eye Center, a regional medical provider with locations in Pennsylvania and Maryland, including two ASCs.

Gadsden-based Northeast Alabama Eye Surgery Center proposed an ownership change involving a buyout of the ASC physician owners' assets.
